Default FoW Forge "Xbox" pull

I've seen the ranger xbox ball done more and more recently in DWG and Mesways, but with limited success. Is this more of a gimmick or is it actually worth it when you need a really tight ball?

If the latter, could someone explain it?

it is very difficult and impractical to ball all 8 rangers on one spot, the more common aim is to make 2 balls of 4, so that with eoe and split damage all will die. Done properly it can work most of the time, but the number of players in the game who fully understand it could probably be counted on one hand. You pop all 4 shadow beasts on the top, then run all of the 4 ramps, each time running down until the back ranger group moves. You can also use the features in the middle to move rangers around as they will sometimes move if they can't "see" you (if you aren't getting hit by them). It's one of the most difficult balls to do reliably and quickly and most people never even attempt it.

As paranon said, not many can do it consistently, Volo and zak can do it, most of HRUU know it but cant do it every time.

*edit* forgot to mention - hold Ctrl on the ramps when you start so you can see when they move up, also you need to do it hella faster than i did in the video - this was for purpose of videoing.

video i did a while ago explaining how to do it. enjoy

Sweet, thanks for the info guys. I'll start practicing this up with my DWGway team so I can be counted on the hand!
